Paul Pogba snapped leaving hotel as Manchester United star looks to shake off injury for Swansea clash

Paul Pogba was pictured carefully making his way down hotel steps on Friday, less than 24 hours after being taken off injured during the first half of Manchester United 's 2-1 defeat by Fenerbahce.

The Frenchman is a doubt for his side's clash with Swansea on Sunday after suffering what appeared to be a thigh injury with his side trailing 1-0 in Istanbul.

Pogba scuffed a shot from distance after beating his man and then immediately signalled he had hurt himself.

After trying to run it off the £89million man was substituted before the half-hour mark. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was brought on in his place.

The latest pictures of the United star, taken outside the Lowry hotel, seemed to show Pogba ambling slightly as he left the building - but the absence of crutches are a promising sign.

The 23-year-old also appeared in good spirits, pausing for a selfie with a fan.

The news will come as a blow to manager Jose Mourinho whose side are already struggling for form and are dealing with a number of other injuries.

United are without a league __win in their last four matches. The last time they picked up three points was against Premier League champions Leicester in September.

Mourinho takes his side to South Wales on Sunday, and now faces the prospect of doing so without the world's most expensive player.
