Neville predicts more pain for Mourinho’s United

Manchester United v Burnley - Premier League

Gary Neville predicts more pain for Manchester United, but says that they must stick __with Jose Mourinho.

Having started the season as second favourites for the league title, United find themselves in sixth position, eight points behind leaders Liverpool.

Mourinho has already publicly criticised players, frozen out Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and received a touchline ban.

Neville believes that United fans will have to be patient, although is surprised that the team has taken so long to settle.

“They have to really live __with Mourinho now,” Neville said.

“Hopefully it will work and he can get it right because we need some stability there.

“I thought United would settle down quicker than they have with the new signings, they haven’t – it looks like it’s still going to be a bit painful.

“Mourinho has always been about picking his best 11 and he will deliver the win.

“He has had to change it constantly and he doesn’t know his best team yet.”
