Gossip: Memphis Depay and Schneiderlin out

Memphis Depay Morgan Scheniderlin Anthony Martial

MEMPHIS WANTS PL MOVE
Marseille? Memphis Depay would rather play for Sunderland, Swansea or Hull, according to a leading French journalist. The Dutchman knows he needs football (he has played only 20 minutes of league football this season) but he would rather stay in England. We’re daydreaming about a front three of Depay, Romelu Lukaku and Yannick Bolasie at Everton.

L’Equipe journalist Mathieu Gregoire said on French TV: “Memphis Depay would prefer to play at any Premier League club rather than Marseille. It is the most competitive league; he has one foot in it and certainly won’t want to get out. And especially financially, we do not account for wages these guys have.”

SCHNEIDERLIN IS WANTED MAN
Wanted by two former Southampton managers, specifically. According to various reports, Manchester United are willing to sell for just £12.5m and both Crystal Palace and Tottenham are interested in making a January move. The Frenchman started another Premier League game on the bench this weekend.

You can see why Palace would be interested after missing out on Jack Wilshere. But Tottenham? Would he get a game ahead of either Victor Wanyama or Mousa Dembele? Why do we always think of Everton at this point?

PAYET WANTS OUT?
You can hardly blame him; he stars at Euro 2016 and then comes back to that sh*t-show at West Ham. Reports in France say that Payet would quite like to move in January and PSG and Champions League football are calling.

This has sent West Ham into something of a panic and the Daily Mirror say that Slaven Bilic will hold ‘crunch talks’ __with his star player. Apparently he ‘will sit down __with him to underline how much he is loved and valued at the club’. Will that make up for having to play with Simone Zaza?

AND THE REST
Steven N’Zonzi is being linked with a move to Barcelona…Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida is a target for Sunderland…Mamadou Sakho has been urged to leave Liverpool…Emre Can is close to agreeing a new contract at the club.
