Reports suggest Manchester United will offer Juan Mata a new long-term contract after the midfielder’s promising start to the season.
Mata was widely tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer following the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who sold the midfielder while in charge of Chelsea.
However, the Spaniard has impressed so far this season, making nine appearances in all competitions and scoring twice.
And according to the Daily Mirror, the 28-year-old will be offered a new four-year deal at United.
Mata’s current contract expires at the end of next season.
