Jack Rodwell extends his unbelievably bad Sunderland record after defeat at West Ham

Sunderland's winless season went from bad to worse as they slipped to a last-gasp defeat at West Ham, but for one player the defeat brought a familiar feeling.

Because while David Moyes might be the man getting the most stick for his hapless side's dismal displays , he might want to look at a player he also managed at Everton.

Jack Rodwell has had an horrendous time of it since swapping the Manchester City bench for intermittent Sunderland appearances in August 2014, and the full horror is laid bare below.

Because after the loss at West Ham, Rodwell has now lost on 17 of the 32 occasions he's started for Sunderland in the Premier League, drawing the other 15.

Which means that, yes, he has NEVER won a league game when starting for his club - a run which has now extended for 26 months.

How bad is that?
